In 2017 Kaitlyn Yant was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She fought bravely for a year and a half before her chapter on this side of heaven came to a close. She passed away on September 28th, 2018 but during her time fighting the disease she created a lasting legacy in Hope Against Hope. Through her faith and overwhelming desire to see God glorified in every circumstance, she touched the hearts of many people.
Kaitlyn and her family were blessed over and over again by friends, their church family, and even by strangers. Both through financial donations and through the love of Christ they received an outpouring of hope from everyone around them.
Because of Kaitlyn’s sickness we recognize first hand the need for financial support while fighting a life threatening illness such as cancer. That’s why we made Hope Against Hope a non-profit that can be that support for people that need it the most. We understand the strain and anxiety that the financial side of treatment can bring and we want to eliminate that as much as possible so you can focus on the things that matter.
